Returns Policy

iKydz Returns Policy

We recommend you read our Returns Policy prior to you making a purchase from our website, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your legal rights and remedies.

We also recommend you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you or that you collect from one of our stores to ensure you are completely satisfied.

This Returns Policy only applies when you make a purchase online from our website.

We are happy to return or exchange your online purchase under any of the following circumstances and subject to conditions set out therein.

1. Right to cancel your order (Right of Withdrawal)

Subject to the terms set out below, you have the right to cancel your order and return the goods, provided that:

(a) it is before and up to 14 days starting from the day after the goods are received by you;

(b) the goods are in perfect condition;

(c) the packaging remains in an ‘as new’ state.

Prior to returning the goods, please contact our Support Team at support@ikydz.com who will guide you through our returns procedures.

(a) You will be responsible for the cost to return the goods to us. A full refund of the value of the goods will be made upon our receipt of the returned goods.

(b) The product must not have been opened or used in any way.

(c) You must return the goods within 14 days from the day that you cancel. 

2. Faulty Product (within 28 days)

If you have purchased an iKydz product online through our website, and that product becomes faulty within 28 days, you are entitled to a refund or a replacement, provided that:

(a) you send the product to our Returns Address (below) for inspection within 14 days of you reporting the fault to us and in the condition set out in section 6 (Returns) below.

(b) the fault can be replicated by iKydz – all faulty products will be checked by iKydz to confirm that the fault is as described by you.

If the fault cannot be replicated and the product is in working order, the return will not be accepted and the product will be returned to you within 14 days of the inspection. If the fault is confirmed, you will be entitled to a refund or a replacement product.

3. Returns after 28 days

If you have purchased an iKydz product online through our website, and that product becomes faulty after 28 days of receipt and within the Warranty period, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, provided that:

(a) you send the product to our Returns Address (below) for inspection within 14 days of you reporting the fault to us and in accordance with section 6 (Returns)

(b) the fault can be replicated by iKydz – all faulty products will be checked by iKydz to confirm that the fault is as described by you.

If the fault cannot be replicated and the product is in working order, the return will not be accepted and the product will be returned to you. If the fault is confirmed, we will make the necessary repairs or provide you with a replacement product.

You will be responsible for your own shipping costs for returning your item. These shipping costs are non-refundable. If you decide to ship your returned item, we would always recommend that you choose a service that provides a tracking number and requires a signed proof of delivery.

4. Repair of Product

Product returned for repair will be inspected and/or repaired within a reasonable time frame. You may be provided with an indicative repair time. These times may vary due to reasons beyond both our control and the repairer’s, i.e. part availability or incorrect fault description.

You may be required to pay labour, assessment and/or freight fees if goods are determined to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2007 or the iKydz warranty do not apply. We may provide you with an indicative fee; this fee may vary due to reasons beyond our control.

In some circumstances, products presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished products of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the products.

5. How are refunds issued?

If you are entitled to a refund following a confirmed change of mind or a confirmed fault (within 28 days), we will issue a refund. Refunds will be made via the method of payment you used to make your online purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within seven (7) days of receipt of the returned goods (as set out herein) or cancellation of the order.

6. Returns

To return a product due to a change of mind or a suspected fault, please send it to our returns address:

1A Hume Centre, Hume Avenue, Park West Industrial Estate, Dublin, D12 C8C7, Ireland.

With all products that you are returning, you must include:

(a) A valid proof of purchase

(b) All product packaging

(c) All product contents

7. What can I not return?

Returns cannot be processed if there is any physical, customer or liquid damage. So, for example, if someone accidentally pours paint onto the product or throws the product into a river, you cannot return the product and expect a refund or a replacement product.

This Returns Policy is in accordance with The European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 97/7/EC) and the European Communities (Protection of Consumers in Respect of Contracts made by means of Distance Communication) Regulations 2001 as amended.
